Kara is a nationally board-certified and state-licensed Physician Assistant who joined Medical Associates of North Texas in 2019. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Musical Arts, with an emphasis in the health sciences. While at OU, she was active in the School of Music, playing both oboe and English horn in OU’s Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. She went on to attend University of North Texas Health Science Center where she received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree and graduated with honors.
With Medical Associates of North Texas, Kara practices as a hospitalist PA, providing internal medicine coverage at Baylor All Saints Medical Center and Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital.
Kara is married and has three rescue dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
